Hope you are all well! We’ve been having fun and attended a needle felt fairy workshop along with a few friends with Sunflower Wellbeing in Edwinstowe!
When our friend Victoria advertised her Galantine’s Needle Felt Fairy night we just knew we had to go! The night started off with lots of chatter and wonderful hello’s among friends, old and new, which if you ask us. Is THE best way to start off any workshop! After a few ‘important informations’ such as toilet location and where to run if there was a fire, we were presented with an array of wonderful robing to make our fairies with!
After much ball stabbing and faffing our whimsical creatures started to take shape, each with their own story and style. Some with flaming orange hair, others wearing crowns and even a few holding brooms!
Unintentionally, we both happened to end up with very similar fairies! Wearing striking green dresses and pale pink wings! After enjoying ourselves WAY too much, we instantly took to amazon to buy numerous fairy felting books and supplies!
We are now planning a ‘Team Building Night’ where we make lots of fun fairies for our craft spaces! Have you ever tried needle felting? We would love to know if you have any suggestions for our glimmer of fairies. We now have visions of living our Fair Tale: A True Story dreams and building a dollhouse for our garden of foxgloves and leaving them cake!
